Wrapped in plastic,the box was light for shipment.All the pieces were there and with alittle trimming-it fit and glued up well.I'm not a good painter. But even the instructions were very helpfull in spotting the right places to paint.It all turned out better than the first one I made and later lost in the early 70's.I'd suggest it for any Son(Daughter)and Father project.All though I'd also say that the Mother-Daughter(Son),Or-Space fans out there too-will find pride I've felt as I ventured into this handsom model(Saturn V Rocket).In fact! I keep it on display in my livingroom.Order through the company I did and I feel you won't be disatisfided at all.Worth every penny!:)

I bought this for my 9 year old son who is an avid rocket fan, especially the Saturn V rockets. He has thoroughly enjoyed putting it together, including using the plastic cement. It does need to be put together using this cement, since it doesn't snap together.
